Just got started with mark. this week!

I have been wanting to start mark. for a while and finally had the 21.95 to do so. I did it on Monday which was the 11th of July. I am excited to begin. I have done some things so far like set up my eboutique store and my facebook fan page Truly Enchanted mark. I have also received my mark. start up kit on Thursday and bought my mark. business cards which should be here by the end of this week. I am so excited as I said. I get discounts and rewards because I am selling mark. I don't need to even sell the products and there are never any fees when I don't do anything with mark. I can just use my account for the discounts off the products, but I want to sell and I am truly loving this!

Mckay's Used Bookstore In Knoxville

Update: I got everything sorted out and I am happy with the results. I am going to give the store another chance.

I am royally pissed. On friday July 1st 2011 I went to trade in some of my used books that consists of Nora Roberts, Debbie Mccomber, and Harlequin novels. I am so pissed I waited for 1 and 1/2 hours on my books to get don't then when they didn't call my number I went up there to see what was up. They counted my books and everything but screwed up when they didn't count any of them. I trusted the employees to know where my books are and they didn't know where they went. I wanted cash for them and that didn't happen. They accounted MY books as other peoples books so they gave what ever I received to them. They tried to fix the screw up by giving me 65.00 in store trade credit. I didn't want credit in the first place. With all the novels I brought in they didn't even give me the credit for them because THEY LOST IT ALL. I got 5.00 and something in change for one Sisterhood in the traveling pants and Cinderella story with hilary duff and Chad Micheal Murry. I am so pissed so some one better reply back to me through my email and on facebook VERY soon!

~Birchbox~

I am in love with Birchbox.

It is like a magazine subscription where you pay $10.00 a month to receive a box like this on the left (your left) with 4-5 Deluxe Beauty and Make-up products in the mail once a month around the 10th of the month (I usually get mine around the 10-13th day of the month). The samples can be anywhere from Make-Up, Beauty items like Peels, Hand wipes, creams, perfumes, full sized bronzers or eye shadows. It depends on the month and what the Birchbox staff are going to do.
Each box is a different theme and when you open the box you will see a intro card telling you what the month is about and a brief description of the box. The other side of the card tells you what is in your box.

The boxes are always a surprise. Which is really nice because I feel like I am getting a present every month and I love it!

I have been getting Birchboxes since April of this year.

Tip #1 For College Students and Just Anyone

I have found out that when you are studying for a test or a important exam that you don't want to fail, to try breathing in and out. Releasing your thoughts of anything that is troubling you and thinking positive about your assignment, test, or exam. I use this whenever I am trying to study for a test and I am stressed about anything that could damage a good grade for me while doing my assignments. I usually get a great grade of higher than I thought it would be after clearing my mind and thinking positive.

My Fanfiction Profile and My Stories Links

I have been a member of Fanfiction.net since December 22nd, 2008. I fell in love with the concept that fans can write stories and post them on one site without being professional. I get to correct my stories the way I want, make up characters, ideas, concepts, plots and much more freely and without restraint. I am pretty proud of myself.

I try to update my profile every few months if possible. I also try to update my stories if I can. I love doing my stories. I only have 3 so far. Trenton's Newest Resident? (Not sure if I want to continue), It's good to be home (Completed), and my newest is A Whole New Beginning (Still working on it).

All 3 of my stories are based on Janet Evanovich's book series of Stephanie Plum Novels. Really amazing books. There are 16 books so far and #17 comes our June 21st. Excited too. Great series, amazing adventures also.

Freebies For The Month of May

I am going to be honest and say that I don't remember all that I have received from the month of May. I have received many, many samples, freebies, coupons, free informational packets, and won a few giveaways in the last few months since I started using my freebie sites and coupon queens on Facebook.

I have gained so much information on everything about getting freebies and how to get great non-store brand items really cheap with coupons. I have saved my family over $100.00 these past months then ever before. I have dedicated my boredom to coupon searches and organizing than ever before too.

I have found a good way to put old coupons to good use by donating them to a program (Non-Profited) called "Coups for Troups." My coupons will go to military families overseas that could use them as long as they are not over 6 months old.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyways,
I have received Razors from Gillette, deordorant samples, earring from a Freebie page giveaway, a package of 10 homemade samples from Body & Soul Products (which I will be reviewing soon here and on FB), Coupons for free products such as food items like Sweet potato fries and Lays chips, I have received other things through the mail for free like magazines and shampoos and more coupons.
I have found coupons on the internet for items that I have bought for free like deordorant (trial size), toothpastes (both trial and full sized), first aid kits, body washes, hair products, personal products (female product), I found some pain relief gel coupons and midol ($2 off), and many more.
I have taken to buying the sunday paper ever first Sunday of the month. I am making it a goal to use as many coupons as possible to go past the $4 I spent on 2 papers. I think I will make it. I have til the 30th to see if I suceeded. Hoping I will.
This is it for now folks. I am going to cut some coupons. (I have not had the chance to this week yet.
I am going for a big shopping trip 6/8/11 which is tomorrow. I am hoping to spend less than $20 on all I need or what not. I need to plan tonight.
A Site I am Obessesed With Is.... R.E.A.D.S.
Tennessee R.E.A.D.S. (Regional eBook & Audiobook Download System)!
 R.E.A.D.S. has become my go to for ebooks. I can get a range of books all at my finger tips for free without spending hudreds on books I will never read again. I have maybe 800-900 dollars worth of paperback and hardcovered books that I have only read once.
R.E.A.D.S. is a site that Tennessee residence can go to and borrow books for 14 days and return them just like a regular book at the library but you are not wasting gas on driving. You can borrow up to 15 books at a time which I have only ever borrowed 15 at once about 2 times. I believe that I have saved myself a few hundred dollars because of this website.
Thank you R.E.A.D.S.!
I am finished with Spring 2011 Semester, I have H.S., and I am Finding Work
I am offically finished with this semester. This is the first time since last January that I have not had classes to take or to study for. I am really freaking out because I have to now find a job. I have not had a real job since 2007. The reason for that is... Well, I was working at Old Navy in Tanger Outlet in the fall of 2007 and wasn't feeling to good when I worked for a long time period sweating to death. I barely took breaks (I wasn't even 17 yet) which you are supposed to take breaks at least 2 times during a 7-8 hour period and so I was becoming dehydrated and didn't stop for a drink or to go to the bathroom. I found out a month or so after quiting that I have a disorder or genetic disease called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (H.S.):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradenitis_suppurativa
So, I got medicine and am going to try to find some work anywhere I can that isn't going to make me sweat like a freak in heat.
This semester was my fourth and I am doing pretty good. I have had some easy classes so far but that is going to change in the Fall of this year. I believe that classes for Fall start in September which gives me plenty of time to find something and stick with it. We will see... Till later my followers.
Spinach Wrap Recipe
What you Need:
Spinach Wraps (See your local deli)
Meat Sliced (honey turkey or the ham)
Cream Cheese
Cheese (EX: Havarti Cheese, Merzzetta)
Deli sliced, roasted sweet bell pepper strips
Romaine lettuce
1. The first thing in making a delicious wrap would be placing the wrap so that the longer part of the wrap is laying towards you and the shorter ends lay on the sides.
2. Apply the cream cheese on the entire wrap.
3. Lettuce is placed towards the middle of the wrap. If you don’t like crunch like me then I suggest you either rip or cut the lettuce apart to lay in a straight line left to right.
4. The cheese is next and you would be using three to four slices on top of the lettuce.
5. The meat would be tricky because you need to decide how much you want in your wrap but six to eight works for me. You could put the meat before the cheese. It doesn’t really matter at all. It will taste the same.
6. The peppers are last. Make sure they are as straight as possible in a line. Roll it quick and tight.
7. Cut the roll in half and cut at least five wraps on each side that you will want to share and enjoy with someone else.
Now enjoy with a nice glass of milk or your favorite juice. This is a perfect recipe for children.
Teig's Hot Cheese (with Bologna) Sandwich
What you need:
2 slices of Honey Wheat bread
1 slice of Provolone Cheese
1 slice of American Cheese
1 slice of Oscar Meyer bologna
‘I can’t believe it’s Not Butter’ butter
Set your pan at a 6 on the stove, add a little of the butter.
Butter your two pieces of bread with the butter suggested or another butter you have in your kitchen. When the pan is hot and ready to go add the slices of bread and layer the cheese and the bologna. Now get the sandwich to hove crispy you want and serve. Add a slice of pickle or a cup of tomato soup.
My Love for Harlequin
Harlequin Romance books are amazing... I absolutely love Romance Books. I was 15 when I was hooked on reading and as I said in the profile, my first Harleqin book was 'The Missing Mom' by Ann Evans. I don't remember if I bought this book or if I recieved it as a gift or through Harlequins site, but I fell in love with this book. I have read it at least 5 times in the last few years which isn't a lot but I've read it more than the other books I have or had.
Harlequin has a store online that I go to and purchase books a few times a month using "bill me" at checkout. Bill me isn't like the thing where you need a credit check to get approved. It is where Harlequin includes a invoice in your shipment that you pay in so many day. It is a great program and helps women to read more and to become involved in reading.
There are so many books and series published by Harlequin that I can't name them all. The main series of books are Medical Romance, American Romance, Desire, Super Romance, Romance, Special Releases, Special Edition, Mira, Luna, and Love Inspired to name a few.
 If you are not sure which to try out then There is a program that is called Free Book Offer. You can try most of the series for free. You get two books and a surpise of something I can remember (I think it is a pretty bookmark?). You don't have to buy the monthly box of books from the series if you don't like it. You will only have to refuse or send back the box to ReaderService and you won't owe anything to Harlequin. So these books (2 free) are yours without Obligation.
So explore Harlequin's Store and decide for yourself if its worth it and believe me... It is.
Recent Book I Have Read...
'How to Read Literature Like a Professor' by Thomas C. Foster
I recommend this book absolutely!
This book was a "Textbook" needed in my Spring 2011 English Composition II assignments. I really enjoyed this book because even though I seriously don't like to read books that I don't pick out, this one is a great resource on different subjects of actual stories and a bit on poetry.
Foster's book is all about a person learning and being able to understand literature such as a textbook with lots of stories that are 30-100 years old and being able to understand them.
I read this book and learned about Intertexuality (p.34-35,43,189-90) and how Vampirism (p.15-20) are not always vampires, they can be old mean people preying on maidens and not caring (selfish).
I recommend 'How to Read Literature Like a Professor' for people who want to understand what you are reading in any book. I also recommend How to Read Novels Like a Professor also.
My Blog Introduction
Hello,
I am so excited to finally be doing this personal and public blog. I have thought about doing this for a while now and here it is. I want this blog to be about my life, what I am doing, what I am reading, basically just me personally. I never had the courage to do this because I am boring old me which isn't so exciting...lol.
I want this blog to be about Reviews on different products too...
Reviews on books, movies, articles I've read, beauty products and things that I've tried, new foods, and things in general. I want to use this blog as a personal and public reference that others can read if they want to, but for me to look back on with a smile on my face in the future (or a year from now) knowing that I did this and am proud that I did. So this is me experimenting and trying to express myself.
